Lyme Bay Winery's award-winning Jack Ratt Lugger Spiced Rum has been inspired by the West Country's smuggling past. The name ‘Lugger Rum’ comes from the fast and agile fishing boats that notorious smuggler Jack Rattenbury would have used to smuggle contraband into Lyme Bay in the 18th Century.
This rum has been aged in bourbon-charred oak barrels and spiced with nutmeg, orange peel and cloves, as well as vanilla.
